One of the leading names in the domain registry industry, Afilias announced the entry of one of its products in the market on Tuesday. It is a managed DNS service which is available for commercial purposes. Though the company is entering an already crowded market, it is doing so with a product which is very well developed, evident from the fact that it supports 15 registries. Furthermore, it also confirmed that Afilias provides support to more than 14 million domain names and has been in this business for a period spanning 8 years. The .me registry which forms a constituent part of Afilias’s product recently crossed the 200000 mark.
