Mozilla Technology Helping NASA

NASA is utilizing some open source from Mozilla for building a new tracking software which will be able to track space shuttles and deploy measures to correct any faulty issue. To approach this independently with bottom-up criteria would cost the government in the billions, but now, not only do they save a wad of cash (in the region of 100 million TOTAL cost), they will also be able to save lives!
