Commanding a whopping 63% of worldwide searches, Google is at the forefront of search technology as well as potential misuse of information. you can't get that big and not use the data you collect for good. There is just no way. The amount of influence can change economies of small countries. In addition to world searches, you can forget that there is a google family of websites from gmail to youtube, picasa and so on. The conglomerate offers a new data revolution that can shift and create paradigms of corruption. This is virtual corruption, just so you know. Unfortunately, governments are too busy covering up their own mess than to see what might, has the potential of or set some sort of regulations.
